EMMA PROBLEMS FIXED AS OF 01/22/08

Fixed in Release: 6.0.19b

Request: Add the ability to display messages and announcements when a user logs on to EMMA. Allow Service Managers and Supervisors to update and add new messages.
Response: Included in 6.0.19. To disable this capability set SUPPRESSMESSAGING=Y in the [Options] Section of the emma.ini file.

Request: Would like to have the ability to enter "High" or "Low" as the glucometer reading.
Response: Add this feature. Can enter H, Hi, High, L,Lo, or Low and it will be accepted.

Problem: When the last Current Med is deleted from the list and the entry is closed, when it is reopened the prior list of current meds is displayed.
Response: Changed code to set "Current Meds None" check box so none of the prior meds are displayed. When a new one is added, the check box will be cleared.

Request: Would like to document a medication that is given with two different dosages-e.g. 30 mg in morning and 20 mg in evening.
Response: First, the name of the second dosage must be slightly different from the first (add a period after it). Second, we have added additional Frequencies to table: w/breakfast, w/lunch, w/ dinner, In morning, In afternoon, In evening, and 4x/day.

Problem: For the ALS Treatment 'Blood Glucose Analysis", the information regarding Chem Strip and/or Glucometer doesn't appear in the Treatment Log.
Response: Fixed code in TreatmentLogFormat.

Problem: EMMA doesn't calculate mileage's over 500 miles, just puts out ***.*
Response: Fixed code.

Request: Add Nature of Dispatches of 'Standby', 'Public Service', 'Event'. Map to Standby for NEMSIS/State. Also add BLS Intercept by ALS.
Response: Done.

Problem: ALS vs BLS by Neighborhood report crashes with "Divide by Zero".
Response: Fixed code in report.

Request: Need option to allow user at level of Technician to produce QA report for a trip.
Response: Add to [Options] section of the EMMA.INI file: ALLOWTECHTOPRINTQA=Y

Problem: If a current med is entered with no dosage but with a Dosage Unit, then four error messages are generated and the Dosage Unit value is not included in the display.
Response: Fixed code to check if a dosage unit is entered without dosage. If this is the case a message box is displayed indicating that the dosage unit will be ignored.

Problem: Selected Monitoring IV with medication of Heprin but D25 was displayed in Treatment Log.
Response: Fixed code in Treatment Log Format.

Request: Add buttons to put Author's name at end of message, put "Posted on __/__/__" at beginning of message, perform Spell Checking.
Response: Done.

Request: Need an option so "SELF PAY" is not automatically entered into the Insurance Screen when no insurance is entered.
Response: Add to [options] section of the emma.ini file SUPPRESSAUTOSELFPAY=Y

Problem: When doing QA and reviewing a trip with no insurance information, the message about "SELF PAY" is displayed.
Response: Fixed code so that message is only displayed for Open Trips.

Problem: Delete button doesn't work on EditMessagingForm.
Response: Added missing code.

Problem: Barriers to Patient care doesn't get entered into the Narrative.
Response: Fixed.

Request: Suppress the display of the Messages window just after logon when there are no active messages.
Response: Done.
