Initializing Modem

This problem occurs when the Emma.ini file got changed. 

To fix this problem go to the Control Panel(Start Button --> Settings --> Control Panel), open up the Modems, find the Modem that ECATS is using, select it and click on the properties tab. Find out which PORT the modem is on. (Example: COM1). 

Now go into Emma, under the File Menu - Emma Utilities - Edit the Emma.ini file. At the bottom of the file there is an ECATS section, under the ECATS section there is a line COMPORT= 

Change that back to the right modem number.
